Services for Schools, Kindergartens, and Camps
- We strengthen teeth and gums — we assess children’s oral health on-site. When needed, we perform preventive professional cleaning of both baby and permanent teeth, removing tartar and plaque from areas that are difficult to reach with a toothbrush. We polish teeth and reinforce tooth enamel with a special protective paste. All procedures are completely painless.
- We run interactive trainings and lectures — we conduct oral hygiene workshops and watch educational cartoons together. We demonstrate proper brushing techniques using special plush toys, and after treatment, we reward our little patients with small gifts.
- We examine and document each child’s oral health — after the visit, parents can access a full overview of their child’s oral health status and personalized care recommendations through our patient portal.
- We create wonderful memories — we want our youngest guests to remember their dental visit as a fun and positive experience. Our friendly characters with tooth models — Paula the Panther and Victor the Donkey — help make that happen. Together with them, children play, get to know the HAMBABUSS team, and explore the space before the appointment begins. Even the most anxious children forget their worries and fears.

How it works:
• After submitting your request, we will contact you by email or phone to arrange suitable dates.
• The dental bus arrives at the kindergarten or school premises one working day before the first appointments.
• We need a parking space and 24/7 access to electricity — we bring our own extension cord, just a standard outlet is required.
• For a child to visit the dental bus, a parent must complete a consent form prior to the appointment.

• 1 in 2 six-year-olds requires dental treatment (58% of children have tooth decay).
• Statistics show that teenagers aged 15–19 visit the dentist least frequently — despite the Estonian Health Insurance Fund covering dental care for all insured individuals under the age of 19.
• Nearly half of adults aged 35–44 have dental problems.
• Although an annual dental check-up is recommended, only 30% of surveyed adults visit the dentist once a year for a preventive check-up — and approximately one quarter have not seen a dentist in the past two years.
